Sunrise, FL - November 12, 2010 - Interim HealthCare honors Amy Liggett as Interim HealthCare Inc.'s National Paraprofessional of the Year. This honor is given to the individual who, nominated by their office, has consistently exemplified the H.E.A.R.T. qualities of Interim HealthCare Paraprofessionals - Honorable, Experience, Ability, Reliability, and Training throughout the past year.
Nominations by each of the more than 300 independently owned & operated franchise locations are gathered and out of those, Amy a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Interim HealthCare in Toledo, Ohio was selected.
Amy has been with Interim HealthCare Toledo since February 2009. She works with Alzheimer's patients and takes her assignments very seriously. Amy listens to her client's life stories so when they can no longer remember them, Amy is able to share these back with them. Families have requested Amy to provide care for their Alzheimer loved one even after being admitted to the hospital because the new surroundings are upsetting and they know Amy will be able to put them at ease. Amy treats the families of the patient with the same compassion and is a highly requested Care Professional. Amy also assists in training other home health aides in her office best techniques to use when working with late stage Alzheimer's patients.
An exemplary employee, Amy is always on time, submits complete and accurate notes, and always dresses to impress-smile included. She is always ready and willing to fill in where need whether it's to fill an unexpected scheduling needs, resolving client issues, relaying clinical calls to on call nurses and more. Her clients and co-workers appreciate her dedication and strive for excellence.
Always looking for new challenges, Amy has taken it upon herself to become more familiar with different payor sources and the office's process of scheduling. Amy has recently taken on a new responsibility, doing Emergency Response System (ERS) installations. Being a quick learner and good decision maker has certainly contributed to her success.
"Amy deserves recognition for the hard work, compassion, and dedication she brings to this position, her clients, and the families she serves every day," said Karen Carnes, Chief Clinical Officer of Interim HealthCare Inc. "She consistently goes beyond what is required, in order to accomplish her job. We salute Amy's outstanding contribution to improving people's lives" Carnes continues.
Amy definitely exemplifies the award and proves to herself and those around her she has H.E.A.R.T. everyday. We congratulate Amy and are proud to honor her as the Interim HealthCare Paraprofessional of the Year 2010. We are glad that you are part of the Interim HealthCare team!
