Interim HealthCare Appoints New Clinical Quality Leader

Donna Merritt brings over 25 years of dedicated home health experience to the nation’s leading home health provider

SUNRISE, Fla.--Interim HealthCare Inc., the nation’s leading network of home health care, senior care, home health, hospice and medical staffing services, announced today the addition of Donna Merritt as vice president of clinical quality.

Merritt, a registered nurse with a background in risk management, brings extensive experience and proven success in home health and hospice management to her new role. She will have comprehensive oversight of Interim HealthCare’s clinical operations and lead quality initiatives to continuously improve the standard of care and patient experience in consultation with franchise leaders, senior leaders, and clinicians. Her knowledge of the industry and eye towards innovating for the future will lend even greater focus to enhancing Interim HealthCare’s patient care approach that builds on the company’s more than five decades of experience in pioneering personalized care at home.

Merritt previously served as regional director of operations at BAYADA Home Health Care, where she achieved best-in-market star ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and exceeded quality, growth, and operational goals. Prior to that, she held positions at Amedisys Home Health and Hospice. Merritt earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Florida State University.
