These new locations will help Interim meet patient demand, especially now that over 90% of Americans have indicated wanting to receive care in the home and home health aide demand is projected to increase as much as 41% by 2026.

“The reality is for more than 50 years, the home care industry has stood at the ready, but only in the last three years has it become abundantly clear that home-based healthcare clinicians are integral to how this country can meet the increase in healthcare demand,” said Jennifer Sheets, CEO and president of Interim HealthCare and its parent company, Caring Brands International. “The pandemic pushed the home healthcare industry forward by 15 years in terms of the population’s knowledge of home care and we’re seeing more and more individuals opt for the superior care that can be provided in one’s own home. We are excited to continue growing our footprint to provide access to these crucial services.”

To help Interim HealthCare meet this growth, Steve Schildwachter brings more than 25 years of global marketing, branding and franchise experience to his new role. As a seasoned franchise executive, his extensive background in building strong brands that generate revenue and growth for franchise organizations makes him an invaluable asset to Interim HealthCare. Steve will lead the company’s marketing and brand strategies while supporting its franchise network through innovative programs that drive expansion and growth. Prior to Interim, Steve was the chief operating officer of Franchise Performance Group, where he oversaw the rebuilding of the lead generation division for clients pursuing growth through franchise expansion.

“I’m excited for this new journey with Interim HealthCare and the opportunity to expand the public’s knowledge around the wide range of essential home healthcare services offered and the different degrees of care from hospital-level to personal aide,” said Steve Schildwachter, senior vice president of brand at Interim HealthCare. “Interim has an outstanding network of new and multi-generational home health franchise owners and operators, and I look forward to playing my part in strengthening the business and brand.”

To enable Interim HealthCare to meet the growing home care demand, Scott Williams brings substantial recruitment and management experience in the healthcare industry to his role as vice president of talent. His recruitment expertise in the healthcare sector and proven success will be a valuable addition as he leads the continued development and implementation of recruitment strategies that effectively attract and retain high-performing employees across the organization. Prior to Interim HealthCare, he served as director of talent acquisition for Sonas Home Health Care, where he led the company’s recruitment, onboarding and marketing strategies, and implemented process changes that resulted in a significant increase in hires, year over year.

“Staffing challenges are affecting the entire home healthcare industry and meeting demand for home care is directly dependent on the ability to hire qualified professionals so that we can continue providing services to the increasing number of individuals who need it,” said Scott Williams, vice president of talent at Interim HealthCare. “My new role will play an important part in navigating this industry issue and ensuring our patients receive the best care possible.”
