Interim HealthCare of West Chester accepts most insurances, including Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Managed Care, My Care Ohio and private insurance plans.  We are not, however, a provider for Managed Medicaids, such as Amerigroup, CareSource, Buckeye and Molina.

Most of these plans cover healthcare services provided in the home, many at 100%.  Some plans however, do not cover personal care unless skilled services are also needed.  If you would like to know if your insurance plan will cover your homecare services, contact our office today at (513) 892-3200, and one of our knowledgeable and friendly customer service representatives can assist you.

Medicare will help cover home care costs for people who meet the following conditions:
  • Your doctor must decide that you need medical care at home and make a plan for your care at home.  Patients must have a face to face appointment within 30 days of our start of care and must be attending regular doctor appointments.
  • You must need either intermittent skilled nursing care, physical therapy, or occupational therapy.  Other disciplines, such as social work and home health aide, are only covered if you are also receiving a skilled service.
  • You must be homebound.  This means that you are normally unable to leave home unassisted.  Being homebound meants that leaving requires a major effort.  When you leave home, it must be to get medical care, or for short, infrequent, non-medical reasons such as a trip to get a haircut, to attend religious services, or adult day care.
  • The Medicare program must approve the home health agency caring for you.

Interim HealthCare of West Chester is also a provider for Council on Aging and Clermont Senior Services.

For more information on how to get signed up for services with COA or Clermont Senior Services, call 513-984-1110 and ask for the HomeStyles department.

I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your help with my Mom. She has grown very close to a couple of your care givers. Everyone is prompt and considerate of her needs. It’s comforting to know I have people who I can count on.
