Interim HealthCare names Megan Holliday National Therapist of the Year
Sunrise, FL Sept. 30, 2025-Megan is widely respected for the way she cares for people as a whole, addressing not only physical, but the emotional and personal needs that often accompany recovery. In one case that spoke volumes about her approach to care, Megan supported an elderly patient returning home after a personal crisis. Overwhelmed by anxiety and the realities of daily life, the patient struggled to regain a sense of control. Megan sat with her, helping sort through paperwork, bringing order to what felt unmanageable and restoring dignity and stability during a vulnerable time.
That same level of care is evident in Megan’s day-to-day work with patients and families. Known for her compassion and calming presence, she steps in where help is needed, whether that means skilled therapy, assisting with basic tasks, checking in outside of scheduled visits, or offering comfort during moments of loss. Home health clinical manager, Aubrey Ellenburg, shared, “Megan brings a true heart of gold to her work. Her empathy and genuine care shine through every interaction. She makes people feel heard, valued, and well cared for.” One patient echoed that sentiment, writing, “I love Megan. She is so positive. She makes you feel better about yourself. She makes me want to try harder.”
Megan has been named a WOW Hero three times in a single calendar year, an honor that reflects the consistent respect and appreciation of both patients and colleagues. This recognition is reserved for team members who exceed expectations and make a lasting impact through their actions.
“Megan lives our mission of enriching lives,” said Beth Landry, CEO of Interim HealthCare of Greenville and Columbia, SC and Atlanta, GA (Hospice Only). “Her servant’s heart, strong clinical judgment, and dedication to others raises the standard for everyone around her. She is deeply deserving of this recognition.”
Interim HealthCare is honored to recognize Megan Holliday as Corporate Therapist of the Year, celebrating a clinician whose care, character, and compassion leave a lasting mark on the lives she serves.
