I love all animals, and currently I am the proud owner of four guppies. My hobbies include dancing, gardening, walks outdoors in the fresh air, going up to the mountains (not too high up, just to see the countryside). I really enjoy my garden. It’s hard work, but I love seeing it grow!  I love to learn. I enjoy reading medical education books . I also enjoy mysteries, Nora Roberts and Danielle Steel. If i could travel anywhere in the world..hmm… somewhere in the country, with fresh air and  trees and gardens, somewhere warm but not too hot and not too cold.. I’d also like to visit Rome and Paris! I think my secret talent is making other people smile. My favorite foods include watermelon and baked chicken. My favorite saying: “You are My Sunshine, My Only Sunshine.”

What are some of your favorite things about working for Interim?
Some of my favorite things about working for Interim HealthCare include the flexibility, the teamwork, and the in-services that really keep me current with changes in the healthcare field!

Tell us a little more about you!
Well, I myself don’t have any animals, but I take care of my grand-dog. His name is Jax! For hobbies, I enjoy gardening and caring for flowers. My garden did really well this year! The flowers were great! Someday, I would love to see Paris. I want to see the Eiffel Tower, and have a chance to enjoy the architecture of the city. My talent is my ability to make things grow! I also love to make my homemade macaroni salad, homemade macaroni and cheese, homemade stuffing: comfort foods! My favorite food is spaghetti with meatballs, and my recipe has green pepper mix in the sauce! Yum! I don’t really have a favorite saying, but I am known for saying “Yup!”

People. I love the people.

Tell us a little more about you!
I have a dog named Brie (like the cheese). My hobbies include, cooking, baking, gardening, especially my flower garden. My zinnias were outrageously gorgeous this year!! They’re still blooming like crazy! I do have a favorite movie: Christmas Vacation. Gets me laughing every year. Ha! I also love The Notebook. Someday, i would like to visit Iceland, and take a dip in the hotsprings. I would say that my talent is baking and cooking.. And giving it away to people around me! This week, it was banana pecan muffins for my neighbors! My favorite food is eggplant parmesan with fresh eggplant from our garden! Our garden was great this year! I made 8 gallons of homemade tomato sauce and used it to make 3 pans of eggplant parmesan. (YUM!) My favorite music is modern country and my favorite music artist is Keith Urban.

  Wendy’s favorite movie!

Joy - Aide of the Month
Columbia County Office

How long have you worked at Interim?
I have been here for almost 5 years.

What are some of your favorite things about working for Interim?
I love the elderly, so helping them with anything they may need help with is very rewarding and makes me happy. Being independent is a nice part of this job, but also knowing that the office and the nursing staff are very supportive and there for you is really great.

Tell us a little more about you!
I have 2 adult sons: Jesse and Jason. I love all animals, I have 3 cats: Jack, Sophie, and MJ (short for Marvin Junior, AKA Baby). I also have a hamster named Sparkle Bell (She runs on her wheel all night!!). I also enjoy watching the birds outside. My hobbies include reading (my favs are action packed mysteries), walking in the woods with my granddaughter Savannah Rose. It is so relaxing, and she is so smart and beautiful, and she has a great memory! I also love to look at the sky at night. I find it amazing to look up at the moon and stars and think about how big the universe really is. It looks magical and wonderful. My favorite books are “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator”. I first read these when I was young. The original books had pictures too. If I could travel anywhere, I would say anywhere there is a beach and the ocean. I love putting my bare feet in the sand and watching the ocean waves and smelling the salt in the air. I think my secret talent is my ability to make others laugh with my quick witted jokes. Also, I am super sensitive to others’ feelings. My favorite food is mashed potatoes and gravy! My favorite saying is “Peace” (to encourage peace in the world and in people’s hearts).
