What Our Community is Saying

I called for assistance after rotator cuff surgery. They were extremely professional gathering information and sending someone to my house to assess my living conditions, and what my needs would be. My homecare aide came on time and was helpful, personable, and efficient. I really enjoyed her company. I could not recommend [Interim] more highly, they are excellent!

I am very happy with the caregivers and the client contact person who [provides] daily arrangements of the team.

Free Virtual Activities to Enjoy with Your Senior Loved One This Summer
Jul. 22

Hot summer days can make it difficult to keep older adults active and engaged. Fortunately, there are plenty of free virtual activities that allow seniors to stay connected, learn something new, and have fun—all from the comfort of the air conditioning.

One of our favorites is virtual travel. Exploring new places online can spark memories, inspire conversation, and create meaningful moments together.

🎨 Virtual Museum Tours – Visit world-famous museums like The Louvre, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Van Gogh Museum without leaving home.

🌲 National Park Virtual Tours – Experience Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, and more through interactive online adventures.

Free Apps & Websites Seniors May Enjoy

The Most Important Activity: Connection

While apps and websites are great tools, the real benefit comes from spending time together. A shared virtual adventure, a favorite song, or a conversation about treasured memories can provide meaningful engagement and strengthen relationships.

Our caregivers strive to build meaningful connections with every client. Whether you need a few hours of companionship so family caregivers can attend work or appointments, or ongoing support at home, we're here to help.

Call our Intake Team to learn more about respite and companionship services. From short visits to 24/7 care, we bring the connection.

New, No-Cost Support for Dementia Caregivers: The Medicare GUIDE Program
Jul. 15

Supporting Families Living with Dementia & Alzheimer's

A dementia or Alzheimer's diagnosis can change everything—not just for the person diagnosed, but for the family members caring for them. If you're feeling overwhelmed, you're not alone.

Through Medicare's GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) Program, eligible families can receive additional support, education, care coordination, and now up to $2,625 annually in respite care benefits.

How We Help

At Interim HealthCare, we make the process simple. Steps:

  • Call us to be screened for GUIDE eligibility
  • If eligible, we will connect you to our GUIDE partner to start the enrollment process, and coordinate a no-cost in-home assessment. If not eligible, we will inform you of all your other care options - we won't leave you hanging!
  • Connect you to 24/7 care management support which provides education on dementia progression, communication strategies, fall prevention, wandering risks, and changing behavior
  • Provide trusted respite care through our experienced caregivers. You get to choose the schedule that meets your families needs!

Caring for the Caregiver

Family caregivers need support, too. The GUIDE Program helps you access the resources, education, and respite services you need to continue caring for your loved one while prioritizing your own well-being.

Whether your loved one is living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or another memory-related condition, we're here to help you navigate the journey with confidence.
