What Our Community is Saying

I’m so happy I found this company when I did. My father needed extra help when I was too far to give it and he didn’t have the insurance to help cover it. They provide loving, professional service at a great rate. I would suggest this to anyone on a tighter budget, interim care is amazing.

Home Care That Fits Real Life—Without a Four-Hour Minimum

Not every family needs several hours of home care at a time. Sometimes, the most meaningful support comes from having a trusted caregiver stop by to help with the essential tasks that make each day safer, easier, and less overwhelming.

That is why Interim HealthCare of Clearwater created Essentials—flexible, task-based home care designed for individuals who need a little extra help while continuing to live independently.

Essentials visits may include:

  • Morning or evening routine assistance
  • Wellness and safety checks
  • Medication reminders
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Laundry and linen changes
  • Assistance with errands and everyday household tasks

Whether someone needs help getting ready for the day, a reassuring check-in, or support keeping the home comfortable and organized, our caregivers provide dependable care tailored to the client’s individual plan.

No four-hour minimums. No unnecessary services. Just the right support, at the right time.

Essentials is ideal for older adults living independently, families who cannot be there every day, individuals returning home after a hospital or rehabilitation stay, and anyone who could benefit from consistent assistance with daily routines.

Serving Clearwater and surrounding Pinellas County communities.

Independence Day
Jul. 2

This Fourth of July marks a historic milestone — 250 years of American independence.

At Interim HealthCare of Clearwater, the meaning of independence is close to our hearts. Every day, we help seniors and individuals with care needs remain safe, supported, and comfortable in the place they love most — home.

This holiday is especially meaningful to our team, as our agency leader, Jake Broadway, is a veteran. Jake served as a Logistics NCO attached to the 19th Special Forces Group, supporting global operations for nearly a decade alongside units including 1st SFG, 10th SFG, and MARSOC. His service and leadership continue to shape the way we care for our community — with commitment, integrity, accountability, and a deep respect for those we serve.

As we celebrate 250 years of independence, we want to say thank you to the veterans, service members, and military families whose sacrifice and service have helped protect the freedoms we honor today.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support the independence of those who have given so much to their families, neighborhoods, and community.

From all of us at Interim HealthCare of Clearwater, we wish you a safe, meaningful, and happy Fourth of July.
Understanding Home Care: What Families Should Know
Jun. 18

Many families wait until a crisis happens before looking into home care. A fall, hospital stay, illness, or caregiver burnout can suddenly make it clear that extra support is needed.

But home care is not only for emergencies. It can also be a helpful way to keep someone safer, more comfortable, and more independent at home.

What is home care in Clearwater Florida?

Home care provides non-medical support for people who need help with daily activities. This may include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, companionship, and safety supervision.

When should Clearwater FL families consider home care?

Home care may be helpful when someone is:

Having difficulty keeping up with personal hygiene
Forgetting meals, medications, or daily routines
Recovering after a hospital or rehab stay
Living alone and needing more check-ins
Experiencing memory loss or dementia symptoms
At risk for falls
Relying heavily on family caregivers
Feeling isolated or lonely

Home Care Can Also Support Family Caregivers

Many loved ones provide care because they want to, but caregiving can become physically and emotionally exhausting. Having extra help in the home can give family members time to rest, work, run errands, or simply be present as a spouse, child, or loved one again.

Care Does Not Always Have to Start Big

Some families need several hours of care each day. Others may only need help with a morning routine, evening routine, shower support, meal preparation, laundry, or wellness checks. The right care plan should match the person’s actual needs.

At Interim HealthCare of Clearwater, we help families throughout Pinellas County understand their options and create support that fits their situation.

Not sure where to start? Call our local Clearwater team today. We’re happy to talk through what is going on and help you decide what type of support may make sense.

Extra support after a hospital or rehab stay.

Coming home from the hospital, rehab, or skilled nursing facility can feel overwhelming — especially when someone is still weak, adjusting to a new routine, or needing extra help to settle back in safely.

Our Safe Landing Home Packages are designed to provide short-term, practical support during that important transition home.

These packages are ideal for individuals who may not need traditional ongoing home care, but could benefit from help with things like:

  • Getting settled safely at home
  • Personal care and daily routines
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Laundry and linens
  • Medication reminders
  • Safety checks
  • Errands or basic household support
  • Extra peace of mind for family members

At Interim HealthCare of Clearwater, we understand that support does not always need to start with a four-hour minimum or a long-term commitment. Sometimes, a few focused visits can make all the difference.

Whether your loved one is returning home after a hospitalization, rehab stay, procedure, or recent change in condition, our team can help create a smoother, safer transition.

Call us to learn more about our Safe Landing Home Packages and how we can help support the first days back home.

We believe families deserve clear options, practical support, and transparent pricing. That’s why we are sharing our Essential Support pricing publicly.
