ActiveCare

ActiveCare provides patients with relief from symptoms, pain and stress of a serious illness – whatever the prognosis for impact on their life span.  Sometimes referred to as palliative care, the goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and family.  ActiveCare is appropriate for patients in all disease stages, including those undergoing treatment for curable illnesses and those living with chronic disease, as well as those who are nearing the end of life.

ActiveCare is not hospice care.  Hospice Care is meant for those who are in their last months of life, and for their loved ones after their passing.  ActiveCare is available for you any time during your illness. It’s for helping you make the best and most of your situation.

ActiveCare from Interim HealthCare of the Upstate South Carolina is the first home-based palliative care program in the Upstate.

I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your help with my Mom. She has grown very close to a couple of your care givers. Everyone is prompt and considerate of her needs. It’s comforting to know I have people who I can count on.
