Care Options

To our clients:  Interim HealthCare is honored to continue providing care for you.  Your health is extremely important to us.  To reduce infectious risk to both you and the caregiver coming into your home we are requesting that you limit/restrict visitors into your home during this time.  Please call the office if you have a fever of 100.0 or higher, have a cough, or are having difficulty breathing.  It is important that we all work together to reduce unprotected exposure to COVID-19.
To our employees:  We are proud of the quality clinicians and caregivers wearing the Interim HealthCare badge.  Your continued health and ability to continue your work and care for people is very important to us.  We are asking that patients and clients limit/restrict visitors into their homes to reduce the risk of exposure.  As caregivers to a population at risk, please use caution and discernment in your interactions as well.  It will take all of us together to reduce risk and continue providing the great care our patients and clients have come to expect from all of you.  Please monitor your temperature daily and call your supervisor if you have a fever of 100.0 or greater, a cough, or difficulty breathing before coming to work or seeing patients.  We can stop unprotected exposure to COVID-19 with all of us working together.

                                                               COVID – 19 Success Story

Interim HealthCare wanted to share a story that tells of courage and how important a positive attitude can be.
I am a Clinical Manager at Interim's Home Health Care and Staffing agency in Englewood-Denver Colorado. Today, I am in the process of creating a "Heroes Board" to acknowledge the efforts of our staff in fighting the spread of COVID-19  and in providing care and comfort during the Pandemic. There is one inspirational message with a standout photo that really warmed my heart.
On April 17th, Nurse Noadia came into our office to gather up essential personal protective equipment (PPE) prior to seeing her first COVID +.
We had the following exchange:
Me: Thanks so much for accepting this assignment, I know you must be a little worried about catching the virus. I am praying for you.
Noadia: I am afraid but I think it will be OK.
Me: Can I take your picture.
Noadia: Sure.

After viewing Noadia's smiling eyes peering out from behind her surgical mask I noticed that Noadia is smiling in the photo.
Me: "How did you manage to smile while wearing a mask?"
Noadia: 'I practiced smiling with my mask on in front of the mirror to help my COVID patients feel better when they saw me.'

I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your help with my Mom. She has grown very close to a couple of your care givers. Everyone is prompt and considerate of her needs. It’s comforting to know I have people who I can count on.
