What Our Community is Saying

I had at-home physical therapy after my knee replacement surgery. I was very pleased with the therapist and the results. Hannah was very helpful in explaining how to do the exercise, why I was doing a particular exercise, and offering extra hints about how to survive therapy and love my new knee.
Sandy, Home Health Patient.
One of the best hospice agencies I have ever had the joy and pleasure of working with. I recommend them to anyone. You will be happy with the treatment of your loved one because they listen to the family and they care.

It’s Never Too Late to Get Back to Living
Jun. 1

At nearly 97 years old, Myrtle is proving that age doesn’t define what’s possible.

After a fall and broken bone in her back, Myrtle returned home determined to regain her strength and independence. With support from home health physical therapy, she worked hard to get back to the things she loves most, including cooking, shopping, caring for her home, and attending church.

Her story is a reminder that recovery is about more than healing. It’s about getting back to living.

Watch Myrtle’s story and see how home health services can support strength, confidence, and independence at home.

Finding Peace: A Meaningful Goodbye
May. 26

Hospice conversations are often filled with fear, uncertainty, and misconceptions. As a result, many families don’t receive hospice care until the final days of life.

In this video, Kristy and Kiersten talk openly about why these conversations are so difficult and introduce Finding Peace: A Meaningful Goodbye, a new hospice program designed to help families understand what hospice truly can be when it’s started earlier.

Finding Peace uses a phased approach to hospice care, focusing on:

  • Education and trust-building

  • Meaningful moments and togetherness

  • Preparation and confidence for the final days

By helping families lean into conversations instead of pulling away, Finding Peace allows patients and loved ones to experience hospice as it was intended — with support, dignity, and peace over time.

Understanding the BASE Program: Fall Prevention at Home
May. 22

Falls are a leading concern for older adults, but many are preventable with the right education and support. Interim HealthCare’s Balance and Safety Education (BASE) Program is designed to help individuals stay safe and steady at home by combining simple exercises, walking routines, and in-home physical therapy and/or occupational therapy services tailored to each person’s needs.

In this short video, Kristy Kaliope sits down with Odette Ray, Director of Therapy Services, to explain what the BASE Program is, who can benefit, and how proactive fall prevention can support confidence and independence at home.
