Sandra Batdorf RN, MS, Director of Nursing

41 years. That’s how long Sandra Batdorf has been involved in nursing care, ever since she first graduated from the Cooper Hospital School of Nursing. While obtaining her Teaching Certification and Allied Health training plus her Master of Science from Saint Joseph’s University, Sandra worked on the nursing staff at several area hospitals, involved in surgical services and emergency room procedures.

She went on to be an Operating Room Continuing Education Instructor, Director of Surgical Services, Director of Operating Room Services, and Assistant Director of Nursing, among many other roles. Since 1992, Sandra has been on-staff at the Camden County Institute of Technology, where she coordinates the Adult Division Multi-Skilled Program as well teaching Allied Health Careers. She has received the Director of Nursing Year Award in Long Term Care and been named in the “Who’s Who of American Teachers.” The last eighteen years of her nursing career have been devoted to the care of the adult community, driven by her belief that aging adults have the right to be respected, loved, and safe in their own homes while experiencing a fruitful life surrounded by their loved ones for as long as physically possible.
