Jane Geiger RN, BSN, MS, DHCS for Home Care

Jane graduated in 1997 from UW Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She started her nursing career working at a local hospital providing care to medical/surgical and oncology patients. This experience provided not only a greater understanding of the human body, but also the importance of compassion throughout the healing process. During this time, she also instructed nursing students at a local college as they started in their journey to becoming a nurse. In the interest of growing into a leadership role, Jane returned to school and in 2005 graduated from UW Madison with a Master’s of Science – Nursing degree. She worked in a leadership role within the hospital setting until changing her focus from inpatient to in home care. Jane has been with Interim Healthcare for 7 years carrying out a variety of roles from direct patient care to a nurse consultant within assisted living facilities. She continues her teaching role in the home as well as in a classroom setting for caregivers in assisted living environments. While continuing to provide nursing care in the community, she also provides a leadership role within the office working as the Director of Healthcare Service for home Care. Within this role, she develops practices ensuring that our staff continues to provide the best care possible, while also integrating regulatory compliance into practice. Working at Interim healthcare has allowed Jane to grow as a leader while also remaining grounded in the knowledge and compassion required to be a nurse. The belief in a whole team approach to helping patients understand how to manage their health and safety within their own home environment is what makes her job a rewarding one.

I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your help with my Mom. She has grown very close to a couple of your care givers. Everyone is prompt and considerate of her needs. It’s comforting to know I have people who I can count on.
