Home Health - Skilled Nursing and Therapies
Interim HealthCare Topeka is a CHAP accredited, Medicare certified home health agency providing skilled nursing care, physical and occupational therapy, social work services and speech therapy.  We have several unique programs developed for CHF, COPD, Diabetes, Joint Replacement Recovery, Palliative Care and Telemonitoring.

Personal Care and Support Services:

Often called non-medical or private duty, personal care services help individuals remain safe, independent and engaged in leading enriched lives. It’s often the kind of in-home help that allows people to avoid moving out of their homes into a more expensive and less attractive setting. This can include companionship and also assistance with daily activities. In most instances, these services are provided to seniors who may need a little extra help or in some instances more help like 24 hours 7 days a week or even a live-in arrangement.

Medication Reminders - Laundry - Bathing and Dressing - Errands - Meal Prep - Light Housekeeping

Medical Staffing:
We supply supplemental staffing to hospitals, assisted living and long term care facilities, physician offices, schools, large employers and other health care facilities. Interim takes care of background checks, competency assessment, drug screening, worker's compensation, taxes and more to limit our client's costs and limit their liability. We are skilled at matching our caregivers to each unique assignment.

Hospice:
Interim HealthCare Hospice is a compassionate, patient-centered approach to medical care and support for people who are at their end-of-life and their families.  It is based on a philosophy of improving the quality of life when quantity of time is limited. Hospice offices provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and those who love and care for them.

Partnering with hospitals, nursing homes and community based organizations, Interim Hospices meet the specific needs of terminally ill individuals and their families. Interim provides care most frequently in patients’ homes however, care can also be provided in nursing homes and senior living residences including independent and assisted living.

Interim HealthCare Hospices believe that each person has the right to die pain-free and with dignity.  And they also bellieve that loved ones deserve the necessary support to allow them to do so in whatever setting they consider their home.

If a patient needs care beyond what is provided at home, Interim Hospices have relationships with local hospitals and other facilities. If there is a crisis which must be addressed Interim supports the individual and his or her family as they transition back to their home. Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances.
