Respite Care gives family caregivers a break
We are able to provide respite care to families during the COVID-19 Shelter-in-Place order. Our caregivers follow best-practices for safety for themselves and our clients including frequent handwashing, wearing protective personal equipment as needed and minimizing their own exposure when not in our clients’ homes.
At our Interim Healthcare offices serving Western Los Angeles County and Ventura County, we understand the physical, mental and emotional demands of being a family caregiver. Giving so much of yourself can be overwhelming at times and caregiver burnout is very common.
That's why we provide Respite to family caregivers in Santa Monica, Playa Del Rey, Westwood, Malibu, Beverly Hills and throughout Western Los Angeles County as well as in Oxnard, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Newbury Park, Port Hueneme and other parts of Ventura County.
Respite care provides breaks from the daily routine of caregiving. It can relieve stress, restore energy and promote the necessary balance in your life. We will be happy to discuss the type and length of respite care needed, and a plan of service will be developed. Our Home Care Professionals can stay with your loved one for a few hours, a day, a week, or longer as needed to provide the following types of services:
Every one of our respite professionals is thoroughly interviewed, screened, and background checked according to the laws of California before any contact with our clients.
In addition to providing training and supervision, we take the time to carefully match every client with a caregiver that meets their expectations and personal preferences, this provides the comfort and peace of mind you need as you take a break from daily responsibilities.
