Testimonials from The Freedom Center Community

TFC-Group-at-Table.jpgEvery day, The Freedom Center of Rochester, NY heroes make a difference in the lives of those who have been affected by a TBI. Each one is a story waiting to be told. We would like to share some of those stories. They are about real people who are recovering from a TBI and that needed help and support during such a trying time.

The stories are also about the very special people, our Care Professionals, who provide the caring help and support that makes a difference in the lives of our clients and their families. We’re glad to share just a few of our “Stories from Home.”

Here are just a few testimonials we’d like to share with you:

"I found out about The Freedom Center through Mandy. I wanted to tour The Freedom Center and find out what it was about. I found it interesting, different and I would be able to get out of the house. I like to socialize and be with others. There is nothing I would change here" ~ Jeff

"It was suggested I come here so I wasn't so isolated. I look forward to Wednesdays so I can come to The Freedom Center. I want to come here more often. I like coming here because it is a place to socialize and a place of belonging." ~ Mauro

"I have been here for a year. When I come here I do the things that I want like exercising, read English and computer. When I have a problem, Tonette and Amanda help me.  When I go home I think of here, not the past.  For this reason I come here every day. For people that have a brain injury like me The Freedom Center is a good place." ~ Kamran

I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your help with my Mom. She has grown very close to a couple of your care givers. Everyone is prompt and considerate of her needs. It’s comforting to know I have people who I can count on.
