PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Interim Healthcare CNA School program is 4 weeks in length, and has been approved by the State Board of Nursing. The cost of the program includes a uniform, online platform access, influenza immunization (only during flu season), Tuberculosis testing, background check, and the state exam. Our tuition is built as a complete package, covering all needs necessary to graduate, without the need to charge any additional cost.
Students in the nurse aide school program learn basic nursing skills such as: taking and recording a patient’s blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respirations. Students will assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, and hygiene, using the toilet, and basic exercise. Students apply safe and correct techniques to assist patients with moving, walking, and positioning; recording vital information on specific medical forms.
The nurse aide school program includes but is not limited to the following classes:
- Basic Nursing Skills
- The Nursing Assistant and the Healthcare Team
- Safety and Body Mechanics
- Legal and Ethical Issues
- Diet and Nutrition
- Rehabilitation and Restorative Care
Our nurse aide school is quick, thorough, current, and relevant. We offer you a great experience as well as the ability to get into the healthcare field in just a couple of months.
