Our Community

“If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
– African Proverb

For generations, communities have played a vital role in the common good. They serve as the glue that binds people together through shared spaces, interests and values. A strong sense of community benefits individuals, families, as well as the greater society.

With life moving at such a quick pace, and the frequency with which people may change jobs, homes and locations, it can be difficult to make connections and feel a part of something bigger than yourself.  As a locally owned and operated business, Interim HealthCare is committed to the Central Illinois community we serve. Our owners grew up and live in this area, and continue to serve it proudly.  Our employees participate in a variety of community activities and support a number of worthwhile organizations.

It's been said that people who feel a sense of belonging tend to lead happier and healthier lives, and that strong communities create a more stable and supportive society. At Interim HealthCare of Downstate Illinois, this ties directly into our mission: To Improve People’s Lives.
