Hospice VolunteerInterim Hospice of Oakland County is based on a philosophy of improving the one’s well-being when quantity of time is limited. We provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and those who love and care for them. As a member of our hospice team, volunteers have a tremendous impact on the lives of the patients and families they help care for.

Examples of Direct Patient Care Services

Helping patients and families with household chores,
Shopping,
Transportation
Companionship
Mowing a patient’s lawn
Walking a patient’s dog

Before beginning volunteer service, we provide our hospice volunteers with training and guidance related to the services they may be performing.

 
Your role as a volunteer is integral to our organization.
