What’s Happening
Our Clients Have Spoken—And We're Grateful!
At Interim HealthCare of West Springfield, we believe that the best measure of our success comes from the people we have the privilege to serve. Earlier this year, we invited our clients and their families to participate in our annual Client Satisfaction Survey, and we're proud to share the results.
The feedback we received reflects the compassion, professionalism, and dedication our caregivers and office staff bring to every client interaction.
2026 Client Satisfaction Survey Highlights
- 98.7% of respondents said they would choose Interim HealthCare again if they needed home care services.
- 97.4% said they would recommend Interim HealthCare to a friend or family member.
- 98.7% said our caregivers consistently demonstrated a caring attitude.
- 98.6% said our caregivers were courteous and respectful.
- 100% rated our caregivers' appearance as professional.
- 97.1% said their questions were answered clearly.
- 100% rated our office staff as courteous.
- 100% rated our office staff as helpful.
While we're proud of these numbers, what means the most to us are the personal comments shared by our clients.
Some of the feedback included:
- "Wonderful service, a lifeline for me."
- "Everyone is excellent and goes beyond. They care—it's not just a position."
- "Office staff incredibly professional—courteous to a fault. I'm impressed!"
- "Julie is truly a blessing."
- "Michelle is perfection."
- "My caregiver has become like family."
Every member of our team is committed to helping seniors and others remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Knowing that our clients recognize and appreciate those efforts is incredibly rewarding.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to complete our survey. Your feedback helps us continue improving the care we provide, and your kind words remind our caregivers and office staff why they do what they do each day.
At Interim HealthCare we’re excited to share that we are now a provider through Medicare’s GUIDE Program — a new initiative designed to better support individuals living with dementia and the caregivers who support them.
What is GUIDE?
GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) is a Medicare program that provides coordinated, person-centered care to help individuals with dementia live safely and comfortably at home.
✅ Who qualifies?
Traditional Medicare beneficiaries with a dementia diagnosis who:
- Live in the community (not in long-term care)
- Are not enrolled in hospice
• Care navigation and caregiver support
• Training, education, and resource coordination
• Respite care (up to $2,563/year for in-home or adult day services)
• 24/7 access to clinical support and specialty providers
• Ongoing medical oversight and care coordination
This program is a meaningful step forward in supporting families navigating dementia care — reducing caregiver burnout while improving quality of life for those affected.

Chore Services are designed for clients who are unable to complete heavy household tasks due to age, disability, or health-related limitations. These non-medical, home-based services play a critical role in helping people remain independent and safely housed in their own homes.
What Our Chore Services Include
Our trained chore workers can assist with tasks such as:- Deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and walls
- Cleaning ovens, refrigerators, and other major appliances
- Moving furniture and appliances to clean underneath and behind
- Interior window washing and seasonal window or screen changes
- Carpet and rug shampooing or spot cleaning
- Organizing cluttered or unsafe areas such as basements, garages, or closets
- Laundry of heavily soiled bedding and linens
- Snow shoveling from walkways, steps, and driveways
- Trash, debris, and clutter removal

What Chore Services Are (and Are Not)
Chore Services are non-medical and do not include personal care or healthcare tasks such as bathing, toileting, or medication assistance. Instead, they address the heavier, more physically demanding household work that often becomes a barrier to independent living.Supporting Independence at Home
By offering chore services through Highland Valley Elder Services and Greater Springfield Senior Services, we are strengthening our commitment to helping older adults in Western Massachusetts remain safely at home for as long as possible.
If you or a family member receives services through one of these Aging Services Access Points and may benefit from chore services, we encourage you to speak with your care manager or contact us for more information.
We’re proud to expand our services and continue supporting our community with reliable, professional home-based care.
