Self-care is incredibly important for family caregivers. If you're not caring for yourself, you're not as able to care for your elderly loved one as you think that you are.

How safe is the exterior of your elderly loved one's home? This is particularly important if she enjoys spending time outside at all.

Flexibility helps to promote both mobility and balance. With good flexibility comes good range of motion, which means that your aging parent will be able to move around more easily.

Our caregiver spotlight this month is Sela! Sela grew up in Tonga where she learned to play the ukulele. She has a beautiful voice too!
