Patient-Centered Dementia Care

Interim HealthCare’s dementia program is designed to address the specific needs and concerns of dementia patients and their families through every stage of dementia. Our goal: To help individuals with dementia live safely and comfortably, with meaning and dignity, and provide families with much-needed support and peace of mind.

Personal Care and Support

Interim HealthCare understands that no two people need the same kind or amount of care at home. We work with you, your family members, and often your doctor to make sure that your needs are being met so you can stay home, and out of the hospital or a facility. We understand that sometimes just getting older makes it harder to shop, cook, safely take a bath or remember to take your medicines. We also know that if you have been in a hospital or nursing home or at a rehabilitation facility, you may need some extra care until you feel more like yourself. Our trained and supervised staff know that conditions like chronic heart disease, diabetes or breathing problems can make life a little harder to get through each day and we are here to help.

Healthcare Staffing

Today, the challenges of staffing have become much more complex. Facilities and other organizations have a growing need for qualified health care staff and employees are looking for more control with their careers. Interim HealthCare has become a leader in the development of a supplemental workforce. Our success is based on our ability to recruit the best professionals and our responsiveness to the needs of the community, since we are locally owned and operated.  Our commitment to building strong relationships with both clients and our employees is what makes Interim a staffing leader.  From extended block contracts to per diem shifts, our nurses and other health care professionals have job flexibility to meet their needs while achieving a high level of value for each of our customers.

Alzheimers & Dementia Care in Your Home

Interim HealthCare has extensive experience in helping individuals and their families live with Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia.

Dementia is a disease that is characterized by loss of brain abilities, causing decreased cognitive function.

Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia, and affects the memory, thinking and behavior of an estimated 5.4 million Americans, according to the Alzheimer's Association.

Symptoms of Alzheimer's disease typically start to set in when the patient is over the age of 60. When symptoms such as forgetfulness or thinking problems develop before age 60, it is classified as early onset Alzheimer's disease.

Respite Care

Respite care provides breaks from the daily routine of care giving. It can relieve stress, restore energy and promote the necessary balance in your life. At Interim HealthCare, we understand that family caregivers take pride in the care they provide to their loved ones, but the physical, mental and emotional demands can be overwhelming at times. Care giving is an extremely difficult job and no one is equipped to do it alone. Getting help is essential for your health and maintaining your resilience is critical for your loved one.
