Fort Collins Leaders are Doing Time

In the Fort Collins 2013 Executive Lock UpThey say doing time changes you. That couldn’t be more true when business and community leaders agree to be part of the MDA Lock-Up! By agreeing to do time, these leaders from all around Fort Collins go behind bars as they raise bail money to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The MDA Lock-Up is a community event that is a unique and fun way to help local children and adults who live with muscle disease. By being an MDA Jailbird, you’ll ask your family, friends and business contacts to make donations to your “bail”, which are funds that will help MDA in its mission of curing muscular dystrophy, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and related diseases by funding worldwide research, providing comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
Interim HealthCare of Fort Collins has been fundraising for this great cause! Our fundraising leader and Director of Nursing, Debra Meyer, was the TOP fundraiser for 2012 and is on the leader board again for 2013. Fundraising efforts have included saving ‘cans for kids’ as well as holding a raffle drawing that included several donated prizes from local companies and individuals.

Make a Muscle, Make your Bail and Make a Difference
in the fight against muscle disease.

I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your help with my Mom. She has grown very close to a couple of your care givers. Everyone is prompt and considerate of her needs. It’s comforting to know I have people who I can count on.
