It starts in your doctor’s office before your procedure and involves you asking a lot of questions. However trivial they may seem, you should ask your surgeon every question you can think of prior to your operation. These can include plans for pain management, bathing instructions, how long you’ll be out of work and the best rehab regimen, among others.

February is American Heart Health Month, time to look at how we can prevent strokes. The CDC tells us that Strokes are responsible for an estimated 130,000 deaths in the United States each year, CDC. About 795,000 people suffer a stroke each year, and most of those are the first incident.
