Dr. Chris Ruskey – MD Supportive & Palliative Care Medical Director. A Colorado native, Dr. Ruskey received his undergraduate degree from the Colorado College, and studied at the University of Colorado Medical School, before completing his formal training at the Univesity of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Ruskey is Board Certified in Family Medicine, with Added Qualification in Palliative Medicine.  He developed his passion for palliative medicine over 20+ years, and continues to be voted by his peers as ‘Top Doc” for palliative medicine in El Paso County 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Dr. Ruskey serves on multiple community care collaborations related to palliative medicine, and dedicates time as volunteer faculty teaching courses and serving as a mentor for medical students and family medicine residents.



Eileen Flavin - FNP-C. Nursing degree from University of Colorado @ Beth –El School of Nursing. Undergraduate from University of Texas.   Actively practicing in the area of palliative medicine since 2008.  Eileen is a dedicated and highly trained NP who provides customized treatments while working toward maximizing patients’  lives in coping with chronic illnesses.




Paige Atwood - ARNP-C. Paige has been a registered Nurse for 32 years with experiences from Hospital – Home care – to medical systems consulting. For the past 13 years Paige has focused her profession in the area of Geriatrics with an emphasis in Hospice & Palliative Care.  “Every person has a story. You get to know more about that person once you’re able to walk alongside them in their journey at the most challenging times of life”.
