Our Leadership
Melissa G. Ford, RN, Owner, President
More than 14 years ago, Melissa started her healthcare career as a Certified Medical Assistant. In that job she developed a passion for patient care and decided to further her career by becoming a Registered Nurse. Her experience in the field includes OB, Med/Surg, ER and ICU.
Melissa’s compassion and empathy are the perfect compliment for her latest challenge as a 100% Women Owner of Interim HealthCare of Birmingham, Alabama. Melissa’s belief that patient care, when delivered in an environment that is comfortable such as the patient’s home, is more effective, less intrusive and significantly less expensive than care delivered in a hospital or nursing home; makes her the ideal person to lead Interim Healthcare of Birmingham.
