According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, somone who is turning 65 today has a roughly 70% chance of needing some type of long term care in their remaining years. Our goal is to deliver that care in the home (wherever you may call home) in a way that helps to ensure that you enjoy the quality of life that you deserve.

Long-term care is not medical care, but rather assistance with the tasks of everyday life such as:

  • Bathing
  • Dressing
  • Using the toilet
  • Transferring (to or from bed or chair)
  • Caring for incontinence
  • Eating
  • Housework
  • Managing money
  • Taking medication
  • Preparing and cleaning up after meals
  • Shopping for groceries or clothes

Interim HealthCare can assist and facilitate information and paper work the client and family will need to access their long term care benefit from insurance companies. Oue staff can assist with:

  • Initial benefit verification call to the Long Term Care Company
  • Filling out and sending the Claim Form with back up documentation to the company
  • Sending in weekly invoices and back up documentation of services to the company
