Vision and hearing loss, reduced strength and mobility, and diminished mental ability are all natural parts of aging. Over many years, or after sudden injury, illness, or stroke, we will all become unable take care of ourselves. From that point on, our dependance on others will only increase. Though this can become a strain, nursing homes and assisted living alternatives are extremely unpopular. According the the AARP, nearly 90% of seniors prefer to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. The good news—this is exactly what we do.
