Palliative Care Helps Manage Pain

Palliative care is focused on relief of pain and other symptoms of serious illnesses such as Cancer, Heart Failure, COPD, ALS, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Diabetes, or Parkinson's disease. The goal is to improve the quality of life for you and your family. It is appropriate at any age and at any point in your illness. This means you can receive palliative care when you are having treatments that are meant to cure you.
