INTERIM HEALTHCARE

A Name You Can Trust

Interim Healthcare was founded in 1966, originally called Medical Personnel Pool. Then, in 1992, the name was changed to Interim HealthcareInterim Healthcare.

Today, we are the nation's largest combined provider of home care and supplemental staffing. We are the nation's oldest and most successful health care franchise organization. The Dayton office is part of the franchise owned by TSO Management located in Columbus, Ohio, with ownership of our sister offices located in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Indiana.

Interim HealthCare has three core businesses: home health care (skilled), HomeStyle Services (unskilled) and occupational health staffing.

Home care includes both skilled care and supportive services. Skilled care includes nurses, therapists and other specialized caregivers. We provide clinical intervention such as wound care, assistance with medication, home IV therapy, improved ambulation and teaching individuals and their families self-management of their chronic diseases. Support services are provided by home health aides, personal care aides, companions or homemakers, and include assistance with a variety of activities of daily living including shopping, bathing, light housekeeping and companionship.

Interim Healthcare encompasses supplemental staffing which places nurses, therapists, other health care personnel in facilities and businesses for short or long term, temporary or permanent assignments.

Interim Occupational Health focuses solely on providing occupational health services to employers across the United States. This division has been in operation since 1995, providing occupational health solutions ranging from temporary staffing to full facility management.

Together, Interim HealthCare professionals and paraprofessionals provide care and compassion to nearly 50,000 people on any given day. Physicians, families and a wide range of health care facilities depend on our proven clinical pathways and policies and procedures to provide consistent care they can trust. Based in Sunrise, Florida, Interim HealthCare is an international company with over 300 offices worldwide.

Each Interim HealthCare office adheres to an equal opportunity policy for all persons seeking to enlist our services or seeking employment. Accordingly, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, veteran status or citizenship status.

Home Fall Prevention for Older Adults

Each year, thousands of older Americans fall at home. Many of them are seriously injured, and some are disabled. Falls are often due to hazards that are easy to overlook but many times they are easy to fix. In response to escalating concerns related to falls and fall related injuries among the aging population, Interim HealthCare has launched an interactive web program that helps people identify hazards in their home and shows them ways to help prevent falling.
