this access portal to the VA helps cut down some of the hassle and frustration of dealing with your medical issues. Now you don’t have to waste hours on the phone or drive in to the VA just to get answers to your questions. Secure Messaging provides Veteran patients with a new level of access to their care providers, allowing them to become even more involved in the management of their own health.
Secure Messaging strengthens the partnership between Veterans and their VA Patient-Aligned Care Team (PACT). In other words, Veterans, family members, doctors and other healthcare providers are connected to immediately available up to date and very specific information. Patients and their families can ask specific, medically related questions in a secure, private environment without having to deal with the red tape. MyHealthVet is helping to cut down wait times for services and reduce costs at the VA and is recommended to all Veterans who deal with the VA.
