The parent office, located in Charlottesville, was opened with this franchise on January 15, 1991 (making this year our 17th anniversary!) The succession of the franchise offices were as follows: Staunton (in 1992), Fredericksburg (in 1998) and Newport News and Virginia Beach in 2002. All five offices are Medicare and Medicaid certified and accept most commercial payors for billing. The Charlottesville and Virginia Beach locations are CHAP accredited which publicly certifies that an organization has voluntarily met the highest standards of excellence for home and/or community-based health care (www.chapinc.org). The other three locations, as branch offices, work under our franchise CHAP accreditation. Many awards and recognition have been given to Interim HealthCare of of Central and Tidewater, Virginia, most recently being the Silver Eagle award in home health care sales with our corporate sponsors.
