Home Care Services
Interim HealthCare provides home care on two important levels – skilled care and supportive services, depending on the patient’s unique set of requirements.

Skilled Home Care (Medical):
We provide skilled nurses, therapists and other caregivers who are continuously being trained in the latest procedures in the industry. We provide services such as:
• Ventilator home care
• Respiratory care/trach care
• Specialized feedings via feeding tubes
• Medication administration
• Lab draws
• Wound care/dressing changes
• Diabetic sugar levels
• Injections
• IV Medications
• Catheter placement and changes
• Patient education and training


Supportive Care (Non-Medical):
We provide Certified Nursing Assistants/Home Health Aides for personal care, such as bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, nail and hair care, assist with transfers and ambulation.

We provide homemakers for cleaning your home, laundry, washing and putting away dishes, taking out trash, changing and making the bed.

We also provide companions for socialization, meal preparation and assistance with feeding, medication reminders, reading, playing games, going for walks, transportation to doctor visits, going to church, grocery shopping, seeing a movie or to a friend’s house.

Interim HealthCare provides the above services for 1 hour or 24 hours a day, depending on the need of the patient. Interim HealthCare not only provides the services, but makes every effort to send the qualified staff to do the service correctly.

Skill Matching Program:
Our innovative Skill Matching system allows us to match our employee’s training, skills and experience with the patient’s particular need. Our employees are properly and completely prepared to handle your assignment.

Background Checks:
Interim HealthCare provides the most qualified personnel for each assignment. We verify all references including education, licensing and certifications. Employment history and current training is mandatory. We also check all new hires for a criminal background through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

How Long Has the Agency Been in Business? There are very few agencies that have the advantage of Interim HealthCare’s 37 years of experience.

Is the Agency Licensed? Our office is licensed by the State of Florida Agency for Home Care Administration and accepts Medicaid, insurance, Worker’s Compensation and private pay.

Are the Employees Bonded and Insured? All Interim HealthCare employees are. This protects you against possible dishonesty, malpractice and Worker’s Compensation claims.

How Often are Supervisory Visits Made? Supervisors’ visit the client’s homes every two weeks when skilled care is provided; other cases are supervised every 60 days or less if needed.

Who is Available if a Problem Should Arise? A Service Coordinator and a Registered Nurse are available 24 hours a day, every day.
