Certified Senior Advisors
Understanding the key health, social and financial factors that are important to seniors and how these factors work together is critical. That’s why Interim HealthCare has worked closely with a leading organization whose mission is to educate professionals to work more effectively with seniors. The Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) provides education, support and communication resources to professionals from a wide variety of fields so they can stay abreast of the many issues facing their senior clients.
The senior population itself is very diverse. Aging is a complex mix of physical, psychological and social forces that impact people in far-reaching ways. The Society of Certified Senior Advisors is the world’s largest membership organization educating and certifying professionals who serve seniors. SCSA is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCAA) which was created to help ensure the health, welfare and safety of the public through the accreditation of a variety of certifications programs.
Professionals who obtain the designation as Certified Senior Advisors (CSA's) are able to integrate this knowledge into their professional practices. They've learned how incredibly gratifying it is to help seniors achieve their goals, and the seniors they've worked with have learned how important it is to work with someone who truly understands their age-related circumstances.
Becoming a CSA does not make someone an expert in any other profession. But the designation enables professionals to better apply their professional knowledge to seniors. This makes them far more effective as a valuable resource to senior clients.
