Meet Our Team - Cathy Olsen

I am Cathy Olsen, and I proudly serve as the owner of Interim HealthCare of Santa Rosa. My journey with Interim began in 2007 when I stepped into the role of Branch Manager in Chico, CA. The path that led me here was marked by profound personal loss, including the passing of my mother due to cancer. This experience ignited a transformation within me, prompting a shift from real estate to home care.
Through the challenges of my father's illness, I discovered a deeper appreciation for the elderly, which became the cornerstone of my professional growth. In 2014, after bidding farewell to my father, I felt an undeniable call to pursue something greater. It was during this time that a simple inquiry from a caregiver about opportunities in Sonoma County sparked a revolutionary idea within me.
In January 2015, Interim HealthCare of Santa Rosa was born—a beacon of top-quality care and employment for exceptional professionals. Today, as the leader of this remarkable team, I am privileged to inspire, guide, and uplift those around me.
Outside of work, you'll often find me exploring the breathtaking landscapes of our coast, hiking trails and camping all over Sonoma County with my loyal pup. Each step along this journey reinforces my commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

I am Talei Borman, serving as the Manager at Interim HealthCare of Santa Rosa. In this role, I have the privilege and responsibility of overseeing our entire Home Care and Staffing divisions. This encompasses the meticulous management of our dedicated staff and the compassionate care of our valued clients.

Hello! I'm Rachel Dawson, the new General Manager at Interim of Sonoma County. I bring 25 years of executive administrative experience to this role, with specialized expertise in project management and organizational structure.
My diverse professional background includes managing a national horticultural distributor, leading permaculture initiatives, coordinating tree planting projects, and organizing relationship workshops. Through these experiences, I've developed a unique ability to see the interconnectedness of systems and implement strategic solutions. I excel at translating big-picture vision into actionable operational frameworks that help organizations achieve their goals.
I'm thrilled to join the Interim team at the beginning of this exciting decade of growth and development. My passion lies in creating structures that support both individuals and the organization as a whole to thrive.
Born and raised in south Louisiana with deep family roots, I've called Sebastopol home since 2010. I live on a beautiful heritage apple orchard, complete with wild peacocks and a tenacious guard cat. On weekends, you'll likely find me tending to my various garden projects or cycling the Joe Rodota trail. I keep my spirit nurtured by singing with the Occidental Community Choir, where I've been an active member since 2017.

Hello! My name is Reiley Papanicolas, and I’m proud to serve as a recruiter at Interim HealthCare. My journey here is a blend of passion for service and a diverse professional background. Before joining the healthcare industry, I worked in non-profit organizations and sales in the apartment industry. However, by the end of 2023, I realized my true calling was to work in a field where I could directly serve my community and be part of a team driven by integrity, selflessness, and a shared commitment to improving the lives of those in need.
After a period of reflection and job searching, I found my home at Interim HealthCare. I’m excited to contribute to a team that shares my values of excellence, integrity, and service. It's a privilege to work with strong, like-minded individuals who care deeply for both the community and one another.
On a personal note, I moved to Sonoma County in 2015 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Sonoma State University. It was there that I met my wonderful husband, who continues to inspire and support me every day. We were married in November 2023, just days after buying our first home in Sebastopol. In my free time, I enjoy baking sourdough bread, going for walks and hikes, exploring National Parks, metal detecting, reading and knitting.
