The Home Care Elite represent the top 500 home care providers among the 9,700+ Medicare certified agencies in the US. These agencies have achieved patient outcomes and financial performance that exceed established benchmarks. In making these awards, OCS uses publicly available data (i.e. Medicare cost reports and HomeHealth Compare measures) to select agencies based on: 1) quality of care vs. state norms; 2) quality improvement among public measures year over year; and 3) differences in overall profit margin compared to other freestanding agencies in their respective states.
