Interim HealthCare Inc. Announces 2005 HomeStyle Hero Award Winner

Sunrise, Florida-Interim HealthCare Inc., the nation's largest provider of home health and supplemental staffing, announced the winner of the national Interim HomeStyle Hero Award for 2005. Larry Fischer, HHA from Farmington, CT was the recipient of the national award which recognizes a home health aide, personal care assistant or non-medical caregiver who best represents the character traits that make up a hero such as honesty, experience, responsibility and organization. As the winner, he receives a $500 award. Three honorable mentions were also recognized: Cathy Jones, PCA/FSS of Anderson, South Carolina; Angela Taylor, CNA/HHA of Lecanto, Florida; and Cathy Polito, HHA of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Interim HomeStyle Services is the company's brand name for non-medical home care services. The Interim HomeStyle Hero award is unique in that each nominee was asked to obtain a client testimonial providing reasons why their caregiver should be recognized as a HomeStyle Hero. Fifty Home Health Aides, Companions and Personal Care Assistants from Interim offices throughout the country were nominated for this prestigious award by their clients and supervisors.
