Interim HealthCare Announces Nurse of the Year

Interim HealthCare, the nation's largest combined provider of home care and supplemental staffing, announced the winner of the annual National Nurse of the Year Award, Kevin Davis, RN of Morgantown, West Virginia. Mr. Davis will receive $500 as well as national recognition by the 38-year-old health care company at their annual national clinical meeting in San Francisco. Sherri Bunch, RN of Spartanburg, SC was also recognized with an honorable mention for her leadership. RNs and LVNs were nominated by Interim offices throughout the country for their outstanding performance. The award is presented each year during National Nurses Week which is May 6th - 12th.

Barbara McCann, Chief Clinical Officer for Interim HealthCare Inc., states, "The Nurse of the Year awards program was created to recognize and reward RNs or LVNs employed by Interim HealthCare for outstanding care of patients on a daily basis. Each year, we receive many qualified nominations of individuals such as this year's winner and it can become a difficult selection process." She continues, "This year's winner is a pediatric nurse who has made a positive difference in the lives of several children with difficult medical conditions and their parents. His daily care is a reflection of our mission to improve people's lives.
