Names 2003 Interim HomeStyle HeroMay 16, 2003 Interim HealthCare Inc., the nation's largest provider of home health and supplemental staffing, announced the winner of the Interim HomeStyle Hero Award for 2003. Kayce McAbee, Personal Care Assistant, from Gaffney, South Carolina was the recipient of the national award which recognizes a home health aide who best represents the character traits that make up a hero such as compassion, integrity, responsibility and helpfulness. As the winner, she receives a $500 award. Two honorable mentions were recognized: George Doran, Home Health Aide, of Toledo, Ohio and Janice Charles, Personal Attendant, of Bakersfield, California. The Interim HomeStyle Hero award is unique in that each nominee was asked to obtain a client testimonial providing reasons why their caregiver should be recognized as a HomeStyle Hero.
