– Interim HealthCare, the nation’s leading home care, senior care, hospice and health care staffing franchise organization, had select franchise locations recognized by Deyta, LLC at the annual HHCAHPS Honors Awards during the 2013 National Association of Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Home Health Care Survey (HHCAHPS) is designed to measure the experiences of people receiving home health care from Medicare-certified home health care agencies. The survey is designed to meet the following three broad goals:
- To produce comparable data on the patient’s perspective that allows objective and meaningful comparisons between home health agencies on domains that are important to consumers.
- Public reporting of survey results will create incentives for agencies to improve their quality of care.
- Public reporting will enhance public accountability in health care by increasing the transparency of the quality of care provided in return for public investment.
The HHCAHPS Honors is a program established by Deyta to recognize the top 20% of agencies that continuously provide the highest level of satisfaction through care as measured from the patient’s point of view. The HHCAHPS Honors evaluates publicly reported measures covering both performance and improvement of care from April 2012 through March 2013. The following Interim HealthCare franchise locations were recognized:
