Interim Health Care of Newark offers a wide range of services that our patients and other customers can take advantage of. Many of the services we offer are briefly described below.

SKILLED NURSING Our highly trained nursing staff provides many skilled nursing services to our patients, including wound care, infusion therapy, teaching of disease processes, medication management and much more.

INDEPENDENT LIVING These are services which can extend the ability of many people to live in their own homes. These services are provided by paraprofessionals such as home health aides, certified nursing assistants, homemakers and companions. Services can include assistance with bathing, meal preparation, companionship, etc.

Interim HealthCare companions and homemakers give comfort, support and friendship to those who want to continue an active, independent lifestyle in their own home. Whether it's for extra support while recovering from an illness or hospitalization, or for an extended period of time, our home companions are especially selected for their warmth, understanding and ability to help others live life to its fullest.

CENTRAL SCHEDULING Our highly skilled and effective staff of schedulers coordinate the timely and safe delivery of services to our patients.

PHYSICAL THERAPY Our Physical Therapists provide assessments, evaluation and treatment to our patients requiring physical therapy.

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT Assists the Physical Therapist in the delivery of physical therapy.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & WELLNESS SERVICES Our Occupational Health department provides a wide scope of services, from on-site drug testing, pre-employment physicals, and flu vaccinations to CPR training. We also offer many Wellness training courses that are designed to benefit employers of any size.

FACILITY STAFFING We are able to provide staffing to Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, Hospitals and other health care facilities.

HOME IV THERAPY Home infusion (IV) services combine pharmacy and nursing services and make it possible for people to receive prescribed medications through intravenous lines or injections while at home. Interim HealthCare offers a comprehensive range of infusion therapies from TPN, chemotherapy, antibiotics and pain management to many other specialized therapies. These therapies can be provided alone or together with a wide range of Interim HealthCare home nursing services.
