The overall name was changed to Interim in 1992. The new name allowed the company to operate diverse lines of business under one banner and also more adequately refelcted the services provided at that time.

Today, Interim HealthCare is the nation's largest combined provider of home care and supplemental staffing. It is also the nation's oldest and most successful health care franchise organization with the average owner tenure of 18 years.
