Interim Health Care was founded in 1966, originally called Medical Personnel Pool. Then, in 1992, the name was changed to Interim Health Care.

Today, we are the nation's largest combined provider of home care and supplemental staffing. It is also the nation's oldest and most successful health care franchise organization. The Dayton office is part of the franchise owned by T.S.O. Management located in Columbus, Ohio, with ownership of our sister offices located in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Indiana.

Interim HealthCare of Dayton has three core businesses: home health care, health resources (staffing) and occupational health staffing.

Home care includes both skilled care and supportive services. Skilled care includes nurses, therapists and other specialized caregivers. They provide clinical intervention such as wound care, assistance with medication, home IV therapy, improved ambulation and teaching individuals and their families self-management of their care needs. Support services are provided by home health aides, personal care aides, companions or homemakers, and include assistance with a variety of activities of daily living including shopping, bathing, light housekeeping and companionship.

Health Resources encompasses supplemental staffing which places nurses, therapists, other health care personnel in facilities and businesses for short or long term, temporary or permanent assignments.

Interim Occupational Health focuses solely on providing occupational health services to employers across the United States. This division has been in operation since 1995, providing occupational health solutions ranging from temporary staffing to full facility management.

Together, Interim HealthCare professional and paraprofessionals provide care and compassion to nearly 50,000 people on any given day.
