Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare offers dependable homecare and supplemental staffing throughout the United States. Our national presence gives us the knowledge and experience to respond to your specific needs.

Interim HealthCare of Amarillo has been providing home healthcare and supplemental staffing services in Amarillo since 1995. An affiliate of Interim HealthCare of West Texas, and a franchise of Interim HealthCare, Inc. of Sunrise, Florida, Interim HealthCare of Amarillo is locally owned and operated.

Located in the Texas Panhandle and bordered by New Mexico and Oklahoma, Amarillo was first settled in 1887. The name, Amarillo, was taken from the Spanish language meaning "yellow," because of the color of the sub-soil in the channel of the Amarillo Creek.
Industry in Amarillo thrived in the early years because of railroading, cattle and merchandising.

Amarillo has the world's largest natural gas development and provides pipelines to many large cities and thousands of towns connecting through to the Atlantic seaboard. The unhurried friendliness of Amarillo was cited when it was selected in the October 1994 issue of Entrepreneur magazine as one of the "25 Best Cities for Small Business." Factors such as success rates for business, payment performance of companies, personal incomes, state programs and cost of living were considered in the selection of the top cities. Deliberate diversification efforts, financed in part by a half-cent economic development sales tax, have increased the continuous growth of Amarillo with a flourishing economy that finds new businesses opening every day.

Our Team

Jason E. Bullard, Owner/CEO: Jason has been involved in the homecare industry since 1994, including founding a homecare management and consulting firm in 1997. Jason has been a member of the Interim Team since 2005.

George Buchenau, BSN, RN, MBA/Executive Director: George has over 14 years experience in the Home Health Care industry and 30 years in the Amarillo Medical Community. George has been a member of the Interim team since January 2002.

Barbara Winningham, RN, Director of Health Care Services:Barbara has over 10 years experience in Home Care. She supervises all aspects of clinical operations. Barbara has been a member of the Interim Team since 2003.

Dee Spears, RN, Director/Supervisor of Pediatrics: Dee oversees the Pediatric program with Interim HealthCare of Amarillo. She has 7 years of experience in Pediatric Home Care and has worked for Interim HealthCare of Amarillo since April 2002.

Donna Agee, RN, CBA Supervisor: Donna oversees the Community Based Alternative Medicaid Program. She has been in nursing for 15 years and has been working with the State Medicaid Programs since 1996. She has been with Interim HealthCare of Amarillo since March of 2002.

Beverly Perry, CNA, Staffing Coordinator/Private Pay Supervisor: Beverly oversees the Private Duty Companions and Staffing of Clairmont Retirement Community. She has been CNA since 1995 and has been with Interim HealthCare of Amarillo since August 2002.
