Interim HealthCare of Akron has been providing home care and supplemental staffing services since 1979 to clients in Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark, Wayne, Holmes, Carroll, Tuscarawas, and Ashland counties. The agency is Medicare and Medicaid certified, and is a PASSPORT provider. Services available include home health and personal care services (provided by RN's LPN's, home health aides, homemakers, companions/sitters, social workers, PT, OT, ST), and infusion therapy. Supplemental staffing is provided to hospitals, nursing homes, physicians' offices and clinics. Occupational health services and extensive immunization programs are also available. Services are provided twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and the agency is on call 24 hours a day for emergencies. Reimbursement is accepted from Medicare, Medicaid, Waiver, PASSPORT, and insurance, as well as private pay.
